Y4 Tennis Superstar!

Year 4 student, Penelope, started playing tennis at age four in summer 2020 during lockdown, as a way to keep active. It quickly became apparent she had a talent for it. Since then, she has religiously put in endless hours of training, up to six-eight hours a week!

Penelope’s commitment and hard work to the sport, that she enjoys, has now led her to become a member of the Barnsley Lawn Tennis Club and is also due to compete in the Winter Cross County League. Impressively, she has also been selected as one of only ten girls (under 9) to play for Yorkshire and represent her county.

Amazing Penelope! Keep up the good work – your Sandhill family are proud of you!
