Miss wright
Hello Proud Penguins, as you all know my name is Miss Wright. I am very lucky to be able to continue our learning journey together and watch you all continue to grow.
Out of school, I love to be outdoors in the countryside or by the beach enjoying long walks with my dog Tallulah. I also enjoy spending time with my family and having fun days out.

Areas of Learning
We will start your year in FS2 learning all about yourselves – who you are, where you live and who is in your family.
We will be going on a journey into the woods with our first theme of ‘’Who lives in the Woods?’ in which we will read stories such as Owl Babies and The Gruffalo.
Later in the year we will be answering other questions such as ‘Where am I in the big wide world?’, ‘How do I grow?’ and ‘Can you take care of me?’.
Class Information
You will enter the FS2 classroom via the door at the rear of the Foundation building. Children can say goodbye to their grown ups outside the classroom and enter the room independently. Th school gates will open at 8:40am and close at 8:50am. The school day will end at 3:15pm
We will have PE once a week in FS2. For this you will need to wear a white t-shirt and black shorts/ trousers with black trainers. Over the summer please practise getting dressed independently, (including zips and buttons), as we promote independence in changing for our PE kits.
Make sure you are signed up to, and keep an eye on, Class Dojo as over the summer we will be sharing more information of learning to come and photographs of your new learning area. When you come to school in September you will have your own peg with your name on. Please don’t forget to bring a bottle of water and don’t forget to write your name on everything you own!
