Sporting Success at Sandhill!

A group of children recently took part in a 1km Fun Run at Clifton Park.

They did a complete lap of the entire park and worked very hard to achieve their medals. Of 12 schools represented, we finished 7th as a team and one of our children, Charlie Slater, finished 3rd of 500 entrants!

Well done to everyone and to Mrs Hudson for organising the entrants and the event! 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️👏

Another big well done to Penelope (Y2) who has been playing tennis since being 4 and a half years old, and has recently been recommended to a ‘Next Generation’ academy which feeds into the Yorkshire team. 🤩

At her training session recently, she was watched by Jess Ennis-Hill, our local gold-medal Olympian.

Best of luck with your future progression and success Penelope! 🎾
