Sandhill Winter Party!

Last week, Sandhill started their festive season celebrations with an after school Winter Party. This was held in the main school with all year groups, and FS1 were invited for the first time! The children dressed up in their Winter finery, danced, played games, and ate hotdogs. Everyone had so much fun! #WeRespectOthers

Odd Socks Day for Anti-Bullying Week

On Thursday 14th November, we celebrated Anti-Bullying Week by wearing odd socks and celebrating our differences! There was a whole school assembly, and then each class discussed what respect means, as this year’s Anti-Bullying Week theme is ‘Choose Respect’. Well done everyone, great work! #WeRespectOthers

On Children in Need Day, staff and children wore yellow or Pudsey themed outfits. We welcomed donations of silver coins, which were used to create the words ‘Sandhill Pudsey Bear’, with each class taking a turn to complete the letters. KS2 Craft Club!

This half term, Mrs Hudson and Mrs Sahota’s KS2 Craft Club have been focusing on creating crafts with a woodland creature theme! These have included a wool wrapped fox, conker snails, woodland animal pencil toppers, and handprint owls. Well done to all those children who have worked hard to create such high quality crafts! #WeTakePrideInOurWork
