Last week, Y2 took part in a fabulous Learning with the Lords online session. Earlier in the week, they learned all about the UK parliament and the children came up with questions that they would like to ask the Lord/Baroness that we would meet.
They met Baroness Smith of Llanfaes, who is the youngest member of the House of Lords at just 27 years old! The children learned all about her, the House of Lords, the work that she does there and how young people can become involved with issues they are interested in, or feel need to change. They all really enjoyed it!
Well done Creative Crocodiles! You came up with brilliant questions, and we are so proud of you as public speaking can be very daunting.
