This week in Art, Y4 have been learning how early humans used charcoal to create cave paintings, as well as exploring the different ways charcoal can be used to create artwork.
The children experimented with different types of lines, tones and shading, discovering how changing the pressure and movement of the charcoal can create a range of effects. They really enjoyed getting creative, developing their skills and learning how art was created thousands of years ago. Well done, Year 4!
