This week, EYFS enjoyed exploring ‘The Gruffalo’ by Julia Donaldson. The children loved taking a stroll through the deep dark wood, discussing the clever characters Mouse meets along the way and practising their storytelling by putting key events in the correct order.
To bring the story to life, the children got creative by making their own Gruffalo hats. They also practised their phonics by sounding out and labelling his terrible tusks, knobbly knees and purple prickles. Well done!
