History in Y6

This week in History, Year 6 have been learning about the Kingdom of Benin, identifying key events and exploring how they fit into the wider timeline of history. Working independently or in small groups, the children identified important events from the Kingdom of Benin and placed them in chronological order on a timeline. They then compared these with events from British history to see which were happening at the same time.

It was fantastic to see the children developing their chronological understanding and making connections between different periods of history. Well done, Year 6!
