Year 6 recently went on an unforgettable residential trip to Cranworth, where they took part in a range of exciting outdoor activities. From rock climbing and hiking, to thrilling water sports. The children embraced every challenge with enthusiasm. Despite the unpredictable weather, they thoroughly enjoyed the camping experience, showing great resilience and team spirit.
A highlight of the trip was exploring Castleton and Cave Dale, where they completed a tough walk and had lots of fun taking part in a scavenger duck hunt. The experience wasn’t just about adventure, it was also a chance to make new friends. Many students met children from other schools who they’ll be joining at RCS in September. This well-organised trip gave the children a real taste of independence and adventure, and they returned home with big smiles, lasting memories, and a sense of achievement. It truly was an amazing experience for everyone involved!
