Year 5 (Class 7) had the fantastic opportunity to Visit Crowden Outdoor Activity Centre on the week commencing 16th October. The trip consisted of a range of exciting activities from Hill Walking, Orienteering to Zip-Wiring and Abseiling.
The aim of the trip was to take the children out of their comfort zone and experience opportunities that aren’t regularly available to them. The outdoor adventures hopefully provided the children with a platform to build resilience, perseverance and the social skills needed to make solid friendships with one another.
It was clear that year 5 thoroughly benefited from the experience and learned many new skills. Sandhill would like to thank all parents for their help and co-operation in ensuring the children were prepared for the trip.
