Class one celebrate Pirate Day ⚓️

Fri 12th May, 2017

“ARRR… All aboard the Class 1 Ship!”

We are enjoying our new topic about Pirates. So far we have researched pirates from the past, made our own flags and written our own version of The Pirate-Cruncher (by Jonny Duddle).

Last week we had a Pirate Day and we had some fantastic pirates in school! (Thank-you to the parents and carers for helping the children with their outfits). We had a great day and had lots of fun! We tea-stained covers for our pirate stories to make them look old, changed our name to a Pirate name and even made Pirate biscuits.
