Meet your Teachers

Hello, I am Miss Donnelly and I am a Foundation Stage teacher.

I love to read and do creative things and I get to do both of these things in Foundation Stage. We have so much fun! I have a little boy who is 2 years old and we love to read stories together and go for days out. We especially enjoy going to the seaside to build sandcastles and paddle in the sea. I can’t wait to meet you all so that we can have some fun together.

Hi! I’m Mrs Hartley. I teach in Foundation and absolutely love it.

We get to play, laugh and have fun every day. I have two little girls at home who are 4 and 1 year old so when I’m not at school I carry on playing and go on lots of adventures with my girls.

My favourite place to be is outside, you will often find me in my wellies ready for any weather! I also love sketching and reading. I can’t wait for you to join us in September. Let’s have a magical time together.

I have four children, 2 girls and 2 boys, they are aged 16, 14 and my twins are 12. At home we love to be in the garden, we look after the plants together. I really enjoy the fresh air and like to go on nice long walks.

I also love to read books and listen to music. My favourite time of the year is Christmas I love anything to do with Christmas.

Our New Learning

This term we are learning about amazing animals! We shall begin with the smallest creatures such as caterpillars and learn about how they change. Then we will learn about pets, what makes a pet? We will move on to finding out about animals on a farm and finally animals we may see in different countries and sometimes find in Wildlife Parks. We are looking forward to comparing all these beautiful animals and exploring which animals we all like and why.
It’s going to be Roarsome!

Class Information

Every Friday you will be given a reading book – how exciting is that? – please return it every Tuesday.
Don’t forget to bring your water bottle every day and a bag with a change of clothes especially a sun hat.
Above all, remember to have fun!
